NMTC support has been essential in provide gap financing for critical projects at Berea since we do not collect tuition from any of our students, all of whom have great financial need. This has helped our college leverage the generosity of private donors and preserve the quality of our educational program.

Berea College Lock 12

Berea College deciding to offer more scholarships decided to add onto Lock 12 (dam) to create and sell their electricity. By doing so, there is a $2,000,000 annual savings to spend on current and future scholarships.

Mustard Seed Hill

Continued restoration and renovation of the Mustard Seed Hill campus, creating a home for a business incubator, commercial kitchen, corporate meeting spaces, an event hall and lodging.
