In February, Genesis LA provided $11.4 million in NMTCs to finance the Hollywood Arts project. The construction of a 67,732 sq. ft. four-story mixed-use project in Pasadena, California that includes 22 low-income, 13 moderate-income, and 11 workforce housing units, 6,167 SF of commercial space, 3,850 SF of office space, and a 380 SF community room. Acquired and rehabiliated existing warehouse buildings into a specialized facility leasing food production space to small and businesses and other seeking production space. Exhibit design and fabrication for a children's science center, as well as building modifications to the existing shell and core located in the Hansen Dam Recreation Area. A multi-purpose campus provides a “beacon of hope” for LGBT youth and seniors. The Dream Center, a volunteer-driven organization, currently serves over 40,000 people each month.
