The NMTC program creates an opportunity for nonprofit organizations to leverage capital raising activities to expand their operations and generate job growth. Expanding community resources (charter schools, boys and girls club, YMCAs, health services, etc.) not only benefits the clients and new employees at these organizations but the community at large.
