Testimonials

Many of our lender members use NMTCs to attract capital to loan out to low-moderate income individuals.

-Heidi Pickman, CAMEO – California Association for Micro Enterprise Opportunity, San Francisco, California

Providing housing for people of all incomes is critical and not nearly enough exists. Having a safe, affordable place to live is fundamental for well being of our communities.

-Jennifer Eskildsen, SFHDC, San Francisco, California

New Market Tax Credits are an important means through which equitable development can occur to redress social injustices. This has created an incentive for investment that needs to continue in years to come.

-Craig Issod, Friendship House Association of American Indians, San Francisco, California

Last year NMTC enabled Compass Family Services, a 106 year old nonprofit serving homeless and at-risk families, to purchase a facility for services and escape the high rents of San Francisco. In addition, our new building is more welcoming, it’s designed for the services we provide and it has afforded us room for expansion.

-Carrie Hook, Finance Director, Compass Family Services, San Francisco, California
