State Fact Sheet

Note: the jobs totals in this fact sheet are through 2015 and they include a combination of direct, indirect, and induced FTE jobs and construction jobs. The “total investment” number refers to the total project investment (not NMTC allocation) in the state through the second quarter of 2020.

The NMTC program creates jobs, strengthens communities and provide life-changing opportunities to people which would not exist if it was not for the NMTC program. It makes a difference!

Community Testimonials

Bryan Huffman, Chief Financial Officer, YMCA of the Triangle Area, Inc., Raleigh, NC

The NMTC allowed us to build a YMCA in one of Raleigh’s poorest communities. Because of the Y’s commitment to enter the market, we also attracted a new public school, 120 affordable housing unit’s and are in the planning phase of commercial development to bring jobs and job training to this campus. Non of that would have happened without NMTC.
