Project Description

The Bishop Museum of Science and Nature, located in Bradenton, Florida, serves 10 counties. With NMTC financing, the Museum added a wing to house educational classrooms and exhibit space designed to break down barriers to STEAM education in nearby disadvantaged neighborhoods and area schools. The 23,000 sq-ft addition serves an estimate 11,000 low-income students annually, and expand overall visits to the museum to 37,000 annually.
