Project Description

This LEED Certified project consists of a new 2-story, approximately 42,000 square feet detached educational & administration building for Faulkner State Community College (now Coastal Alabama Community College). This building is situated at the North East corner of the Bay Minette campus adjacent to the dorms. This building includes student services (Registrar, Admissions, Financial Aid, Business Office, a computer lab, classroom space, student study center, bookstore, and staff offices.

In addition to the building and student areas the project included an administrative and visitor parking lot consisting of 69 spaces. The design also included a multi-stage detention pond with a micro-pool extended detention area.
