Project Description

Myrtle Beach-based Canfor Southern Pine is investing $8 million to expand operations in Darlington County and bring an estimated 50 jobs to the area. According to a news release from the office of Governor Nikki Haley, a second shift will be added at the existing manufacturing facility in Darlington, located at 1100 Chesterfield Lumber Drive. This facility manufactures southern yellow pine dimension lumber, which is primary used in construction.
