NMTC financing supported an expansion of a small, boutique hotel in Grass Valley, CA. The hotel was able to add 26 new rooms, plus a meeting space.
The seven buildings that compose the $2.7 million, 22,000-square-foot Grass Valley Courtyard Suites facility were overseen by Bobby Brown Construction of Grass Valley. Robert Walker of Nevada City was the architect.
This project – along with parallel efforts to bring tourism to Grass Valley – were important in bringing foot traffic back to Main Street. The project also generated 13 new FTE jobs and 23 construction jobs.
