Project Description

Hawkeye Pride Egg constructed a new building and purchased equipment to enhance their process of breaking the eggs and separating the shells from the liquid. This USDA supervised plant processes eggs from approximately six million hens on site. It also provides liquid eggs to a nearby processing facility in Britt, which provides an additional 50 jobs for rural Hancock County.
