Project Description

The development of a healthy foods grocery store, fuel station, and storage facility in Cusick, WA on Kalispel tribal land.  The new 10,000 sq. ft. facility provides easy access to healthy food options and affordable fuel for tribal members. The project created 35 construction jobs and 20 full-time positions in this low-income community.

Other Washington Projects

A new 59,000 square foot factory produces natural astaxanthin and began production July 2014, initially employing approximately 45 people.
This project supports the development of a new multi-purpose YMCA community facility that will significantly expand its services and outreach in the low-income community it serves.
Development of Eastside Community Center Tacoma, a 55,000 sq. ft. facility operated in connection with Boys & Girls Clubs of South Puget Sound.
NMTC financing supported an organization with a mission of providing healthcare to all persons regardless of age, sex, color, ethnicity, national origin or the ability to pay.
