NMTC financing was instrumental in allowing MAC Trailer to elect to invest permanently in the rural economically distressed community of Mt. Pleasant, Michigan by buying their site rather than leasing the facility on a temporary basis.

Project Description

Acquisition without rehab and equipping of an existing 105,000SF manufacturing facility. The new space will result in 63,500 SF of additional space compared to its currently facility being leased, allowing MAC Enterprises to significantly increase production.The project is expected to retain 37 jobs and create an additional 60 full-time jobs, all payng a living wage. The company is prepared to hire people with no experience and provide multiple forms of training. Total capital investment is nearly $10 million.
