Project Description

The Hennigan Center: The adaptive reuse and historic rehabilitation of a former parish school meant a new home for Lawrence CommunityWorks (LCW). LCW now has the space to enhance its highly-successful community education program. LCW is a nonprofit community development corporation working to transform and revitalize the physical, economic, and social landscape of Lawrence. LCW is building on its existing programs to ensure higher wages and wealth creation for some of the state’s most vulnerable populations – youth living in poverty, the working poor and recent immigrants.
