Ground up construction of a 30,000 sqft, 150 student K-8 charter school on tribal lands. The Red Lake Band of Chippewa Indians, a federally recognized Indian is the sponsor of the project. The charter school is Endazhi-Nitaawiging Charter School. The students served by this school are 100% and 100% free and/or reduced price lunch eligible. This transaction will finance the new construction of a 39,000 sq. ft. kindergarten-fifth grade charter school located on the Red Lake Nation reservation in Red Lake, MN. The school’s curriculum will be grounded in Indigenous Ojibwe values, and is central to Red Lake Nation Language Revitalization Plan.
