NMTCs enabled RCRE to construct a new state-of-the-art wastewater treatment facility in Richland Center, providing a solution for the significant problems of the city’s old wastewater treatment facility, which was unable to handle the volume, functionality, odor, traffic, disposal, cost or increased capacity. The new facility allowed RCRE to run at higher capacity, enabling the retention of existing employees, and creating 73 additional quality jobs.
