Project Description

Construction and development of a 5-story, mixed-use building consisting of 68 residential units, parking and approximately 12,000 sq. ft. of ground floor commercial and retail space. The project will support growth in Detroit’s historic cultural district with apartments being marketed to artists, teachers, and professionals, attached to the surrounding cultural district and medical campuses and a majority of the commercial space being leased to tenants that will provide career training and job opportunities for low-income individuals. The space will include 68 rental units and 14 of these rental units will be available for homeless veterans and 6 will be available to households below 80% AMI. The remaining will be mixed income rental units.
