Project Description

VFC purchased a property located at 31440 Winterplace Parkway in Salisbury, MD for the purpose of expanding their mechanic training center, which assists people exiting the prison system in receiving job training in automotive repair, becoming ASE certified, and being placed in full-time employment. VFC is not only providing technical training to returning citizens, but is assisting in combating the workforce shortage in a much needed area of expertise. Additionally, this new training facility will provide some of the repairs for the other VCF locations that support low-income families who experience barriers to employment due to transportation issues.
