Project Description

Veronica Anderson, owner of Anderson and Associates PA, is a perfect example of the impact BBIF’s New Market Tax Credit (NMTC) Loan Fund has on minority small businesses throughout Florida. Like many minority entrepreneurs, Veronica was renting a commercial space while operating a successful law practice. Through this unique loan fund the NMTC business loan fund, she was able to purchase her own building and elevate her business to the next level!

Through this unique loan pool, BBIF has been able to provide over $3MM in loan capital to a total of four small businesses in the Central Florida community in 2018. The NMTC program has allowed for BBIF to scale its financial reach – driving economic development and propelling business growth in the communities we serve like never before. Veronica is more than a successful entrepreneur and attorney, she is now a commercial real estate owner with a firm foundation to grow her legacy and continued impact to the community.
