Project Type(s): Mixed-Use

Project Year: 2017

CDE(s): Corporation for Supportive Housing

NMTC amount: $12,000,000

Total Project Costs: $11,892,891

The Project consists of the construction of a new 26,200 SF Medical and Senior Activity Center targeted to seniors to include: an approximately 8,000 SF medical clinic to be operated by Centura Health, an approximately 10,900 SF dialysis center to be operated by Fresenius, and an approximately 6,800 SF senior activity center to be operated by DHA. The NMTC Project will be located on the ground floor and rooftop garden activity area portions of a newly constructed seven-story, mixed-use building. The Project re-establishes critical primary medical care services in this low-income, medically underserved neighborhood, while also providing homes for many low-income seniors and disabled residents. The co-location of uses and cross programming that the Project offers will allow the seniors and those with disabilities living on-site to age in place with amenities and services proven to positively impact their health and wellbeing.
