Project Description

NMTC financing supported the construction of a new 26,200 sq. ft. Medical and Senior Activity Center targeted to seniors to include: an approximately 8,000 sq. ft. medical clinic to be operated by Centura Health, an approximately 10,900 sq. ft. dialysis center to be operated by Fresenius, and an approximately 6,800 sq. ft. senior activity center to be operated by DHA. The NMTC Project is now located on the ground floor and rooftop garden activity area portions of a newly constructed seven-story, mixed-use building. The Project re-establishes critical primary medical care services in this low-income, medically underserved neighborhood, while also providing homes for many low-income seniors and disabled residents. The co-location of uses and cross programming that the project offers allows the seniors and those with disabilities living on-site to age in place with amenities and services proven to positively impact their health and wellbeing.
