The NMTC and Vaccine Distribution

Did you know that the New Markets Tax Credit plays a small role in vaccine distribution? The connection isn’t obvious but as you will see, the NMTC plays a role in strengthening several sectors of the economy that will be incredibly important in delivering vaccines to each and every American, no matter their economic status.

Federally Qualified Health Centers​

Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) provide medical and dental services to low-income patients, regardless of their ability to pay. The NMTC has financed over 200 in the past two decades. FQHCs will play an important role in both vaccine distribution and community outreach in low-income communities, where Covid has hit the hardest.
