The NMTC Coalition is excited to invite you to attend the Coalition’s Spring Policy Conference, scheduled for June 4, 2025, at the Le Meridien Madison Hotel, 1177 15th St NW in Washington, DC.
Each June, we bring together NMTC practitioners to discuss policy and program issues related to the Credit. This year is especially important. Given the uncertainty surrounding the Congressional details and timetable for consideration of tax legislation.
This is a time of great change in Washington; there will be much to discuss. First and foremost, the status of budget reconciliation, tax legislation, and the NMTC Extension. We will also provide updates on the NMTC double round and new policies and initiatives at the Department of Treasury.
Our June conference agenda also includes the release of the 2025 NMTC Progress Report, which documents the impact of NMTC investing in 2024. This year’s report, our 21st, will include data from a survey of more than 100 CDEs and investors. The report is an important tool to educate policymakers and to share the direct impact of the credit in their states and districts.
Following the morning program, and after a Conference Luncheon, we will head to Capitol Hill for meetings and a reception. A detailed agenda will be available shortly.
This is a critically important time for federal community development and particularly the New Markets Tax Credit, which as we all know, expires December 31.
We hope to see you on June 4.
