Project Description

Offices, hotel, restaurants: Located on the corner of South Main and East Market Streets, developer Tony Troppe redeveloped the 58,000 square foot historic structure into a modern day office building. The project includes retail use on the first floor and offices throughout the remaining space. WKYC, Channel 3 has located its Akron news broadcast studio in the United Building first floor, where it produces a local news show. The building’s future plans include a boutique hotel – The United 1: A Blu-tique hotel.

Final phase. 7 buildings, $41 million overhaul. Retail marketplace with space for 15 retailers. Hotel, restaurant, bar.

Construction of the new Marcus Thomas headquarters enabled the privately owned local marketing firm to stay in the existing community and expand its workforce.

The project financed tenant improvements to accommodate a new headquarters for Rosetta, the nation’s largest independent interactive agency. The growing digital marketing company relocated over 370 employees to downtown Cleveland.

Redevelopment of the vacant Swetland Building Rehab office building into apartments, office space, a full service grocery store and a hotel.
