Cam Turner co-founded and co-heads all management and investment activities of United Fund Advisors, LLC (UFA), a fund manager and financial services company that provides investment capital and advisory services for community development projects throughout the country. As a certified B corporation with nearly $350 million of assets under management, all of UFA’s investments and services are driven by its triple bottom line mission “to create opportunities for profitable investments which enhance social and environmental yields.” UFA has closed investments for over 150 projects and businesses with total development costs of over $5 billion. UFA provides NMTC financing through its National Community Fund I, LLC, which has received $857 million of NMTC allocation. In addition, UFA provides financial advisory services to government agencies, CDFIs, developers and institutional investors. Mr. Turner has over 25 years of experience in real estate and corporate transactions, including private equity, structured finance, tax credit syndication, and business formation. Prior to UFA, Mr. Turner was an attorney with Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt, P.C., focusing on securities and mergers and acquisitions. He serves on the Board of Directors of the NMTC Coalition and Micro Enterprise Services of Oregon, a CDFI microenterprise lender. Mr. Turner received a B.A. in philosophy with honors from the University of Utah and a J.D. from Lewis & Clark College.
