Project Description

NMTC financing was used to support the development of a new multi-disciplinary surgery and health center in rural Nevada. Once operational, the nonprofit health center will provide access to orthopedic, general surgery, ear nose and throat specialties and cardiology procedures in a Medically Underserved Area. Community Health Development Partners, LLC (“CHDP”) is partnering with Braemar Construction (“Braemar”) to develop the state-of-the-art, 29,979 sq. ft. community health center in rural Elko. With a focus on cost-efficient care and improved patient outcomes, Elko CHC will deliver a wealth of healthcare services that are tailored specifically to the needs of Elko County residents. The Project – which will revitalize unused retail space in Elko’s East End Shopping Mall – consists of three neighboring facilities, each with its own separate entrance: a surgery center, a medical office building that contains physician offices, and a medical imaging center.
