Project Description

NMTC financing supported the construction of the KIPP DC Hamilton Campus, adjacent to Union Market and Gallaudet University. The brand new 120,000 sq. ft. building includes multi-use athletic fields. This is one of aproximately five Charter High Schools in the District which will operate as a feeder campus for KIPP Middle School students. Once completed, the site can accommodate over 850 high school students coming primarily from KIPP’s Douglas Rd. site in Ward 8. The state-of-the-art facility is designed to resemble a college campus. The project broke ground in 2014.
