Project Description

PBT Acquisition, LLC (“PBT”) is a joint venture between Kataman Metals and Environmental Operations, Inc., created for the acquisition and remediation of approximately 271 acres of land in St. Clair County, IL. PBT extracts the scrap metal from the ground, runs it through sorting equipment to separate valuable salable scrap from useless material and return the useless scrap to a newly lined (and up to EPA standards) adjacent landfill site. This project allowed the company to invest in new equipment and spare parts needed to continue operations, make payments to vendors, and provided working capital to support payroll.
