Project Description

$34.5 million in NMTCs helped Tate purchase, renovate and equip a 284,000 SF facility in St. Paul (VA), vacant 15 years, now a state-of-the-art manufacturing hub for data center component manufacturing. This facility has become a cornerstone for future growth and prosperity in Russell County, bringing over 170 quality jobs, 81 construction jobs, and infrastructure opportunities to Southwest Virginia. Industries are digitizing information while artificial intelligence services, telecommunications, video streaming, cloud gaming, social media interfaces, and virtual reality applications evolve and grow, which require increased capabilities of data centers worldwide. Tate’s airflow management products are essential to meet the growing demands of the industry through the manufacturing of structural ceilings, structural and non-structural containment solutions, and raised access flooring.
