Project Description

Finance the rehabilitation, construction and development of the approximately 22,511 sq. ft. Community of Hope Family Health and Birth Center. Community of Hope, Inc. currently operates its Family Health and Birth Center / FQHC in a leased space. The owner has sold the property to a developer and has terminated COH’s lease. In order to continue providing services, COH purchased a property that will be converted to a new multi-use medical facility that will serve as Family Health and Birth Center’s new location. Upon completion, the project will include: primary care/medical care, a free-standing birth center, behavioral health services, a pharmacy, supportive services for patients, and offices for COH staff.

Other District of Columbia Projects

DC Housing Enterprises (DCHE) and co-allocatee City First provided $26 million in NMTC financing for the new BFC Southeast Center. The facility meets several community development and economic priorities.
