Project Description

Bethany House Services used NMTC financing to construct a new 222-bed homeless shelter facility and comprehensive services center to significantly streamline its operations and expand its physical capacities. Serving over 50% of homeless families and 62% of homeless children in the region, Bethany House Services provides prevention assistance, shelter and/or housing, and aftercare services to more than 2,000 people per year. By consolidating seven buildings into one new facility, Bethany House can provide the best quality shelter accommodations and improve access to a full range of support services for every family served. The new space will allow for expanding onsite service, like medical and mental healthcare, employment services, counseling and educational programs.
