Project Description

NMTC financing supported a new facility, which allows Continuum of Care, Inc. to remain in New Haven, consolidate and expand its social services program.

Since 1966, Continuum of Care has helped rebuild the lives of adults with severe and persistent mental illness and/or intellectual disabilities by providing comprehensive housing, home support services, and outpatient clinical care so they may live as fully and independently in the community as possible. The majority of Continuum’s clients and patients live well below the federal poverty level. Each year, the organization rescues approximately 250 individuals from homelessness and it serves approximately 2,100 people across the State of Connecticut.
