Project Description

NMTC financing supported the construction of a new 20,000 sq. ft., two-story facility that provides medical, behavioral health and specialty care, with a focus on pediatrics and serving the house-less community.

By relocating one of its existing clinics, SCCH doubles its clinic space and can serve an additional 3,000 patients and 20,000 visits, annually.

SCCH’s new facility is part of a larger project that will bring medical, dental, and affordable housing to the Live Oak neighborhood of Santa Cruz County. The partnership and larger project was formed in response to a Santa Cruz County RFP to develop the 1500 Capitola property.
