The land is located within the northern area of the City of Scottsdale and within Maricopa County in Arizona.
The facility will offer supportive care for children, adolescents, and adults with inpatient, outpatient, partial hospitalization, and residential treatment programs. The facility will also address the rising need for behavioral health services in the Phoenix area.
PCDIC provided Universal Health Services NMTC loan not to exceed $24.5 to finance the construction of a new 120bed behavioral health and substance abuse healthcare facility located at 9160 East Horseshoe Road in Scottsdale. UHS is partnering with HonorHealth for this project which will be situated on the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community and will provide a full continuum of inpatient and outpatient services. The hospital will be available for no-cost, confidential mental health assessments 24 hours a day, seven days a week, by licensed clinicians. Specialized mental health services and substance use treatment will be offered to teens, adults and older adults experiencing issues such as depression, anxiety, personality disorders and co-occurring addictions.
The site provided 150-200 construction jobs, and approximately 200 permanent jobs.
