Project Description

Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science (CDU) is a Historically Black Graduate Institution focused on cultivating diverse health professional leaders who are dedicated to social justice and health equity for underserved populations. This project will finance the construction of CDU’s Health and Wellness Center, a 10,000 sq. ft. facility in South Los Angeles, California that will house a Federally Qualified Health Center operated by APLA Health, a community clinic to serve families, students and employees of CDU, a food pantry and a multi-purpose health resource center for the community. This project will also finance the development and renovation of CDU’s grand entryway and student center.
