J-M Farms Inc., began in 1979 when Virgil Jurgensmeyer, Joe Jurgensmeyer and Darrell McLain founded the company. Today, the farm produces over 28,000,000 pounds of mushrooms per year. 

NMTC financing from REI Oklahoma supported the construction and equipping of a 34,000 sq. ft., highly efficient, hydroponic mushroom pasteurization and production facility for J-M Foods, LLC (J-M Farms) in Ottawa County, Oklahoma.
