Project Description

The NMTC-financed the construction of a brand new YMCA. From the building’s facade to the inside view after stepping into the lobby, it is immediately clear that the new location offers an impressive package of amenities, equipment and space, superior to the branch’s previous location. The new YMCA at 165 E. Intendencia St. encompasses about 52,000 sq. ft. across two levels. It replaces the 65-year-old building at 410 N. Palafox St., which occupies 33,000 sq. ft..
