Project Description

The $11MM total project costs support the purchase of new production equipment and machinery which will equip 30% of a newly-constructed 100,000-sf medium power transformer manufacturing fabrication facility in Lynchburg, Virginia.The expansion of the Lynchburg facility will add much needed capacity to the U.S. domestic transformer manufacturing fleet, thereby reducing dependence on foreign manufacturers and susceptibility to supply chain disruptions. the project will create 149 full-time jobs in the Lynchburg region with at least 84% being accessible to those without a four year degree.Delta Star was also supported by Mid-City Community CDE.
