Project Description

Dreamtroit consists of the redevelopment of the former Lincoln Motor Company headquarters into a mixed-used, mixed-income historic redevelopment. The project aims to combat displacement of artists while delivering affordable residential and publicly accessible commercial amenities in the New Center neighborhood. The project is located on the site of the original Lincoln Motor factory, which has been occupied since 1908. Over time, the building has fallen into disrepair, and it needs substantial work to continue to serve the community. Building activities will include partial demolition of the warehouse, conversion of the original two-story industrial building, and new construction. The project includes commercial space to house multiple tenants spanning a variety of industries and 81 housing units.
