Project Description

Construction of a 215,000 sq. ft. Hunger Relief Center comprised of dry, cold and freezer storage, enlarged space for workforce volunteers, a culinary kitchen for food demonstrations and lessons on healthy eating and food safety, meeting rooms for additional classes and trainings, a community all-purpose room, administrative offices, and more. Project will allow the Sponsor to fully consolidate facilities as well as expand. Feeding Tampa Bay (FTB) is a top 20 food bank in the Feeding America network and they have served a 10-county area in West Central Florida for more than 35 years. Two years ago, Feeding Tampa Bay made a bold commitment to its community- to end hunger by 2025. Feeding Tampa Bay partners with more than 500 non-profit hunger relief partners and more than 600 local businesses, to achieve their mission of changing “lives one meal at a time”.
