Project Description

A new $40 million, 60,000 sq. ft. fresh food distribution center in Hunts Point, Bronx. GrowNYC is a NYC-based non-profit founded in 1970 that manages environmental programs and food-access programs in low-income communities. The GrowNYC food distribution center will create a central distribution point for small, local farmers from upstate New York to bring their produce, which GrowNYC will distribute to New York City residents through its healthy food access programs.
