Project Description

the project is Phase 1 of the development of an urban campus center focused on agricultural production, research and education in East St.Louis, IL.Additionally, it will include office space, research labs and indoor agricultural production.This project is a partnership between major non profits. the project, funded by a $12 million NMTC, will be the creation of the JJK Food, Agriculture & Nutrition Innovation Center, a 30,000 sq. ft. facility destined to become a beacon of STEAM and agricultural learning for K-12 students and their families.With classrooms, gardens and a commercial kitchen, the JJK FAN Center will provide educational opportunities for an estimated 15,000 persons and their families annually.
