Project Description

The project consisted of the refinance and acquisition of land, which KAB Properties purchased from the City of Owatonna in February 2023, and finance building construction costs for an approximately 47,728 sq. ft. industrial manufacturing facility in Owatonna, MN. The project will allow the business to relocate from its current smaller operational facility in Waseca, MN which is located approximately 10 miles west of Owatonna.

The new facility will continue to allow KAMP to design and build custom automation systems for manufacturing companies spanning from small and medium sized businesses to Fortune 100 Enterprises. KAMP recently entered the profitable medical device industry garnering significant contracts. The business’ customers represent various industries including electronics assembly, medical devices, agricultural seed, and window manufacturers. The funding will allow the company to relocate from its current smaller operational facility in Waseca, MN, continue to design and build custom automation systems for manufacturing companies, and create quality STEM-related jobs.
