Project Description

The project is a new 75,000 sq. ft. holistic children’s resource center to be constructed by Lotus Endowment Fund, Inc. to expand its services to low-income children, youth, and families in the disinvested, underserved Overtown neighborhood in Miami, FL. The project includes a high-quality tuition-free early childhood provider, a satellite FQHC clinic, Lotus House’s child therapy program and donation center, as well as spaces for 8 other nonprofit organizations providing services ranging from academic support to youth enrichment. The co-located organizations will collaborate under an innovative collective impact model to develop and share best practices for the delivery of children’s services.
