Project Description

The proposed new facility will create 64,000 sq. ft. of primary medical services, behavioral health services and dental services, as well as a patient pharmacy and laboratory. The 64,000 sq. ft. also includes a 12,000 sq. ft. shelled-in third floor to allow for future expansion. The new facility will replace and expand the Park Hill facility (existing site), located just south of the new facility, in a retrofitted church that does not allow for expansion or an efficient care delivery model. The primary goals of this project are to assure long-term access to quality integrated primary healthcare with a larger, state-of-the-art facility and to contribute to the revitalization of the Eastside Neighborhood, a neighborhood rooted in Pueblo’s rich history that has seen declines since the 1980s.
