Project Description

This project is located in a distressed rural census track of Andrews, SC and within a South Carolina State Enterprise Zone, FEMA-designated Major Disaster Declaration Area from the severe storms and flooding of October 2015. NMTCs were leveraged to build a new 100,000 sq. ft. innovative manufacturing facility that uses precision welding, laser cutting, and robotic assembly technologies to manufacture fall protection and loading/unloading systems that safeguard workers; enabling them to work more efficiently in demanding industrial environments. The employees are among the best paid in the area and offered workforce development opportunities through training programs improving their skills and safety.
