Project Description

Michigan Community Capital’s NMTC allocation supported the expansion and major upgrade of the Hudsonville Creamery and Ice Cream facility. Hudsonville Creamery, in operation for more than 95 years, that produces ice cream and other frozen desserts, began as dairy farmers cooperative in West Michigan. The 40,000 sq. ft. expansion allows Hudsonville Creamery to expand production with the installation of new manufacturing lines and upgraded refrigeration systems. Total development cost exceeds $85 million an created 41 permanent living wage FTEs.
