Project Description

This transaction supports for the new home for the Erie County Child Advocacy Center and headquarters for BestSelf.

BestSelf Behavioral Health is the largest community-based additional program locations. BestSelf is a certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic and serves more than 35,000 individuals a year with an annual budget of over $80M and more than 1,100 employees.

This project’s objective is to increase the percentage of cases they serve to end the child sexual and physical abuse that occurs in the Western, NY region per year (more than 2,000 are children of color). Currently, only 30% of these cases are able to be served through the Erie County Child Advocacy Center (CAC) at its current location.
