Voices from the Community

If not for the NMTC, Goshen County would not have been able to recruit a new Cobblestone Hotel to Torrington.

Project Description

The project helps support local businessses and the downtown area ofa small town. The project created 10 jobs accessible to low-income individuals. Sixteen local investors and two banks came together in a true community effort to finance the Cobblestone Hotel and Suites, led by First State Bank (a division of Glacier Bancorp). The hotel brought an economic boost and much-needed lodging capacity to Torrington when it opened in early 2019. The downtown lot where the hotel was constructed had been vacant for over a decade.
