Project Description

Construction of a three-story, 43,000 sq. ft. inpatient psychiatric care facility with 28 beds (14 adult / 14 adolescent) and an adjacent, remodeled outpatient clinic to form the Edwards Community Health Campus. The Project will increase the availability of mental health services in a region where patients often need to travel up to two (2) hours to cities like Denver or Grand Junction to receive comparable care. Since 2019, Eagle Valley Behavioral Health (“EVBH”), an outreach of Vail Health (Sponsor), has worked to strengthen and expand behavioral health services throughout the mountain region. EVBH has taken a leadership role in the community, helping to identify needs, service gaps, more than 25 likeminded partners, and funding sources, to create a plan for a sustainable behavioral health system designed to increase the community’s overall wellbeing.
