Project Description

Golden Valley Natural, a family-owned jerky producer was in need of a larger facility, but building a new manufacturing plant in rural Idaho was cost prohibitive. With the help of a NMTC-enhanced loan from Montana CDC, the company opened a 103,000 sq. ft., state-of-the-art facility to meet the growing demand for their natural and organic line of snacks, and create 200 full-time, high-quality jobs with competitive wages and benefits. Montana CDC also worked closely with the company and the Idaho Department of Commerce to develop a job incentive package to create the right kind of jobs for Idaho
