Project Description

Summers-Taylor Inc. expects to make the Model MIll on West Walnut Street its new headquarters by the end of the year (2020). The highway construction company will occupy one-third of the space inside the refurbished building, which once thrived as a flour mill. The mill was at the risk of becoming more of an eyesore than an iconic downtown Johnson City structure. Summers came to a sound deal with the previous owners and will progress toward a later-half 2018 finish date of his work at the site.
